Sunday, March 20, 2016 - Whew - what an amazing week we just finished up.  We were asked to come to Athens for zone conference and some mission business.  All I can say is that it was absolutely wonderful.  We stayed with the Mission President and his wife, Pres. & Sis. Heder.  They were the best hosts ever!

WARNING:  Major photo overload!
The first day we were there we set out sightseeing to Corinth and Nefplion.  Corinth is a major archeological attraction and it didn't disappoint.

This canal was built to shorten the shipping time.  It is five miles long and still used today.

This is at the museum in Corinth.  Corinth was an area that Paul taught at and spent quite a bit of time there.  It was a major power in early 200 BC.  It was taken over by Julius Caesar in 44 BC.  The museum was excellent.
